A day out in the sun...

So the past weekend was pretty chaotic in down town Kuala Lumpur. Darling and I decided to take a trip out of the city away from the impending chaos to visit the UCSI Christian Fellowship who were having their annual CF camp in Port Dickson. It's been a while since I last visited Port Dickson; however nothing much has changed to be honest.

The drive there was still mundane; the beach was mediocre at best however we did discover a stall that sold awesome nasi lemak for breakfast.

It was raining most of the way there; but the weather cleared up pretty much later on in the day. Unlike Kuala Lumpur that was raining for most of the day; Port Dickson was the total opposite of it. There were many couples and families who were in town that weekend. My guess was the very same reason as us; to get away from an already chaotic Kuala Lumpur with unnecessary lock downs by the the police.

We visited Teluk Kemang beach where a colourful windmill caught my attention. I figured, "Hey that would make an awesome prop for some photos". So there I was clicking away with the new toy I got with darling being an ever so sporting model that weekend.

It has been ages since I had my last ice cream. Thanks to the calorie counting diet regime I've put myself under. I'm sure most of us back in school would have bought our 'Roti Ice Cream' from the motorcycle riding ice cream uncle. I was craving for one upon seeing all the vendors lined up upon the beach. However some how all of them either ran out of bread or didn't have any with them that day. So we had to settle for a standard RM 1 ice cream cone. Still enjoyable none the less.

I made a promise to bring darling back to Avalon for a weekend get away after the wedding. Anyone wants to recommend me a website to get good prices for this place?

So we decided to leave Port Dickson in the evening and head back to KL for dinner. We're still planing where to drive off to for our next day trip. Sekinchan looks nice; but I have no idea where it is.
